Joey, Joe, Marcy and Scotty,

Gizmo and Buster are sleeping hard in my office right now.  They usually sleep together but today they found their own beds and passed out.  Happy sleeping pups. They had such a great time on their field trip this morning.  Thank you for having us.  It was such a pleasure starting our morning with you.

We are so pumped for this event and look forward to cheering Joe on next Wednesday!  See you next on the 25th!!

Would You Swimply?

I saw an ad for this the other day. Then heard that it was featured on shark tank as well. Swimply. You search for neighborhood pools just as you would search for a home to rent by using an app or website. You obviously can check out photos of the pool and the outdoor amenities that surround it (grill, seating, hot tub, cabana, etc). All pools state a maximum number of quests and are rented by the hour. So, the question/questions are…. would you rent someone else’s swimming pool? Or, would you consider renting your own? Check out the website here: https://swimply.com/search

Spring Has Sprung for the Herons

Spring has sprung at the heron rookery near Georgetown. I stopped by on such a warm day that it seemed some of the adult herons were compensating for the heat by panting and wing spreading. There are babies in most of the nests; as well as some adult pairs still getting nests prepared with sticks and other material. There are several nests in this rookery and I saw evidence of maybe a dozen chicks. Always a great treat.

There was another photographer there who had fallen just as I arrived and was having difficulty getting back up. I was attempting to assist when a young man drove up. I asked for help and he seemed hesitant at first but when I explained someone had fallen and was struggling, he jumped right in to help. So, thanks Good Samaritan! I hope the photographer is back on the trail again soon.
