It’s no surprise that after 10 years in the beautiful Blackburn Tavern, we have accumulated so much stuff! For this reason, we will be having a FINAL SALE on Thursday 12/15 from 11AM-1PM, where EVERYTHING MUST GO!

We have desks, chairs, monitors, file cabinets, office supplies, beverage alcohol memorabilia and a bunch of SWAG!!!

Holiday Shopping For Pat D At Virgilios

Sometimes you need to do your own self a favor during the holidays so we stopped at Virgilios on Main St. for lunch and treats. Though I was tempted by the hot dish offerings of the day, since it was Monday I asked for a meatball sub. Jim got the St. Joes. We added some bread and cookies and had ourselves a feast. I wish I could share the smells with you! The festive music adds quite a lot. See you down there sometime soon!

Some of these trees are just not symmetrical, some seem like they ran out of steam at the top, some are just a little too generic. One is not a lobster trap tree but has lobster trap buoys.

This fantastic Big Band concert was just added to our schedule by popular demand!

Everything is normal for this time of year, leading up to the Holidays.

The driver shortage for package deliveries has been solved.
As the seas build, commercial fishermen enjoy returning home.
And a few sport fishermen head out.
Our regulars convene around the feeders – male House Finch.
And there are new faces on our walks – Carolina Wren.
Over on Niles Pond, a stoic Cormorant sculpture.
Hank Heron (or Great Blue friend) fishes the same area every day.
A bit less graceful in deeper water.
And he’s still looking for a shoe that will fit.
A pair of female Hooded Mergansers cruise mid-pond.
Adjacent, in Brace Cove, this rock supports the 3-seal limit.
There is never a shortage of spectacular sunsets.
