10 Individuals, Teams or Chefs.
Each entrant makes 100 smallish sized meatballs.
Meatball challenge tickets for tasting/voting $10, gets the first 100 people an opportunity to taste each entrant’s meatballs and register a vote for best meatball.
Meatball entries shall be for traditional Italian meatballs. Not vegan bullshit, not Sweedish meatballs, not some wierdo meatball variant. Traditional Italian meatballs in sauce.
Each entrant will bring meatballs at 6PM and will be furnished a large tin and meatballs will be judged by blind tasting- each tin will be numbered but voters will not know which meatballs belong to each entrant.
We will furnish a first second and third place price and there will be a door prize among the 100 voters.

Traps for days. Blue, yellow, green, and even red (which I’ve never seen before)….square, rectangle, old, and new. Truest signs of a working waterfront.

Since the challenge was thrown down regarding who might document the first hummingbird sighting, I’d like to submit the following (not great) cell photos from yesterday on our deck. But, no photos–no proof, so here you go. I should have known this would happen the minute I decided to leave the camera in the car because we were heading back out shortly…… it was nice to return to the dock with most of the gang for yesterday’s podcast AND the hummingbirds returned yesterday too. I don’t think it was a coincidence. I expect to improve on these photos as the season goes along.

Yep, that’s right. A brewery finally made the move, and we now have an amazing beer to celebrate Fiesta with! I love that it’s a “Walka” going down and not reaching for the flag, epicness! I don’t know if it’s based off a real walker’s attempt or not, so I’ll investigate. But, either way, it’s friggin FANTASTIC! (and I’m not a pilsner guy) I got mine at the newly relocated MODERN BUTCHER in Danvers. The place is AMAZING! That’s the sandwich I got to go with it, a Nashville Hot-Honey w pickes, also the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Get ya some!! Beer: 9.2
Sandwich: 9.7

That sandwich was a double stack thighs!

Can’t you taste the flava!!!
When walking on Monday around 4:30 the sun came out, by the time I got to Ocean Lawn on Coolidge Point the fog was surrounding Ocean Lawn and the ocean.

Working Waterfront…

Good morning kids:
Hope everyone is doing well. Also thank you all who cleaned up on Earth Day.
This Saturday, I have a request for Magnolia Avenue. Hopefully we can do something from Surf Park, at the beginning of Magnolia Avenue and also from Kondelin Road.
When: Saturday April 29, 2023
Time: 09:00 -10:00
Where: If I could have a list who would like to be at the area near Surf Park where you can park and also we need to be near Kondelin Road
I will bring yellow bags and if we could have some brooms for the other debris.
Thank you and hopefully we can get some more clean up. Never ending.
Take care all.
Donna
