My View of Life on the Dock
A day of remembrance today and forever.

On Tuesday this pretty small cruise ship was in port. When at the visitor’s center at Stage Fort some passengers came in. So fun to talk to visitors visiting Gloucester. The smaller ships seem to have their passengers spend time locally, which is great.

Color spread looks great! Gloucester’s history of summer seasons, the 400+ Anniversary festivities, the 4th of July Fireworks, and Cape Ann Museum’s Edward Hopper exhibition & walking tours are mentioned.

The other day I did a post about the deck and outdoor bar at Lobsta’ Land. Only one photo shows up on the GMG facebook posts and I wanted everyone to see how cool the bar with its retractable roof really is….but, a different photo showed up in the post. So, here it is again for those of you who might not click through to the website.

We have had Baltimore Orioles in the vicinity for several seasons now, but this is the first time I have located their nest. They build sac-like structures in tree branches and you can see they are well hidden. I watched as one of the orioles made its way down into the nest and popped its head back out. Now we wait for little chirps and open mouths of young ones!
