You have probably noticed your backyard birds are reappearing and very busy at the feeders. Migration is well under way and we traveled up to Parker River Wildlife Refuge to check it out.  what to sow directly in your garden vs what to plant as a seedling

 how to read a seed packet and plant seeds

 how and when to water your garden

 when to harvest and when to remove a plant

As of April 8, 2026, we have officially downgraded to a Level 1 – Mild Drought status. The Babson Drinking Water Treatment facility is currently operational and at 80% capacity, drawing from The Babson and Goose Cove Reservoirs.
