Joey C-In!
Santa brought me a few origami books! This Santa is from “Brilliant Origami”, by David Brill:
I am Timmy, a one-year-and-ten-month-old kitten.
I have a handsome coat that I love to keep spotlessly clean. I am at the Cape Ann Animal Aid, located at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter, Four Paws Lane in Gloucester. I hope you might stop by and visit me.
The volunteers, staff and shelter animals would like to thank the many community friends who are always stopping by with supplies, toys and other items for our shelter. We would like to wish everyone a peaceful and Happy New Year!
It would be my dream come true to be adopted for New Year’s – not because I like champagne – I do not drink, but to be with a family I could call my own; is something I would toast to!

No dreidel, no Festivus Pole, and most of all NO RUBBER DUCKS…just leg of lamb, fine wine and Shirley’s blueberry pie…good wishes to all..
Ann Kennedy-
"PJs and Paper Plates", our very laid-back Christmas brunch; lots of music, twice-baked potatoes, eggs, bacon and cookies. Also do home-made dog treats for pet friends.
Hi Joey,
I stopped on the Boulevard Friday 12/21/12 around 3 p.m. to admire the cloud
formations over the harbor. The wind suddenly picked up and the surf
suddenly started to crash over the sea wall.

Craig Kimberley and Hanna Christmas Tree-
Dear Joey and GMG:About 30 years ago we lived in a tiny house that had no room for a Christmas tree. We were given an old wrought iron gate which fit perfectly in a picture window. Since then that’s always been our Christmas tree. Holds beaucoup ornaments, fits against a wall, and never drops needles on the floor!Merry Christmas to all!

Hey Joey,
Hope you are having a great Chirstmas day! Here is our tree decorated with the "Lobstar"!

Every year Tony makes Frank and I a loaf of his much sought after Swedish coffee bread. I’m afraid to open it because once you eat the first bite i can’t stop til that whole sucker is gone. (I’m not sure if he puts heroin in it, the stuff is so damn addicting).

Tony Gross 2009 Swedish Coffee Bread
Posted on December 21, 2009 by Joey C
Every Christmastime Tony Gross, the skipper of the lobsterboat F/V Sandollar makes a ridiculous number of Swedish Coffee Bread loaves and gives them out to friends. I made the mistake and called it Nisu but because the recipe comes from an elder in Tony’s family he insists it be called Swedish Coffee Bread.
It’s delicious and best eaten within a day of cooking. I sure am glad I’m on the list of those who get one every year!

First word plural, second, not. I looked it up. Plenty left over for New Year’s Day post Rocky Neck, Oak Grove Beach plunge. Fingers are numb from snapping these off. Too cold for even the Rubber Duck to come out to harvest. (Her joints stiffen up.) Sirloin Roast, mashed potatoes, brussels sprout. New Christmas tradition at RD’s house.
The second song is for Donna and Kathy.
