Valentine has a serious unibrow. The kinda unibrow that would make Frieda Kahlo jealous.

I must admit being a little obsessed when storms come around. Love going out to take some photos and enjoy the beauty of a storm. Here are a couple of pictures from Wednesday am.
Lone Gull Coffee House Is open for business. Owner Maryellen reported they have had a steady stream of patrons all morning! They will close at 2 pm today… hurry down before they close and fuel up with their famous coffee or try something new like a “Sista Felicia Tea”~ Earl Grey infused with vanilla & coconut topped with steamed milk!
Earlier this week I interviewed Kendrick Oliver, director of the New Life Jazz Orchestra and Laura Heinrichs of the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO).
Kendrick is bringing his high-energy orchestra to Rockport’s Shalin Liu Performance Center this Saturday, February 8th at 8:oo p.m.
This concert will benefit the students of the NYMO, including their scholarship fund.
Kendrick talks about how he came to be the director of New Life Jazz Orchestra, which was not what he had planned to do when he attended Berklee College of Music and gives us a preview of the excellent music we will hear on Saturday — plus you get to hear some of that music in the interview too.

Nichole Schrafft follows up-
I included the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline on my list of places to visit the other day. Ironically, today, Amazon Local has it listed as one of its “deals.” They’re offering year-long memberships….$15 for a single membership and just $25 for a family of four. The membership includes admission to the museum all year long, but also the lawn events (which look like a nice way to spend a spring or summer afternoon) and member only events…plus more! They are said to be “America’s oldest car collection” and the museum sits within the 64 acre Larz Anderson Park…which also looks like like a lovely place to spend a few hours. If you were thinking that you might like to check it out even once, buying the membership at this discounted rate is a no brainer!! Besides, you may bump into the Schraffts there…which is clearly an added bonus.

Good morning roads getting treacherous / if u don’t have to drive I suggest u wait and let the plows and salters get the roads cleared first ! Heaviest of snows now until 1pm or so . 6-8″ Heavy Wet Snow for our area.. Temps around 34 degrees . East to North East winds 15-25mph gusts over 30mph at times… May see a brief bout with sleet / Freezing Rain or even plain rain by midday .. But very brief then back to snow . I see this storm as a mostly snow event for Cape Ann with more of a North East Wind Direction ! Temps drop into 20’s Wednesday night …. Enjoy the storm and be safe … Thanks for Reading ..
