Took Mom for a hot fudge sundae at Friendly’s over the weekend, and came out in time to catch this beautiful sky and view.ย Better than the sundae, and calorie free.

“It’s time again for that clinically proven master of mayhem, Mr. Evan Goodrow. He’s flyin’ in on gossamer wings to drive all you kittens wild with his neatly shaven head and croon salivation. Makes me feel really old! Anyways, it’s always a pleasure to have him around to remind me ofโฆwhat? Also, a new guy: Mr. Dave Moore, on pistons, will be handling the rhythm duties, so, cheer him on! showtime: 8:30 till 11:30.”

December 31st marks the end of the year for most insurance plans. ย That means if you have remaining benefits or dental care on your plan, itโs a great time to schedule your appointment.
Yearly Maximum
The yearly maximum is the most money that the dental insurance plan will pay for dental work within one full year. ย This amount will vary by insurance company, but the average is around $1,000 per year, per family member. ย Unused benefits do not typically rollover, and the yearly maximum usually renews on January 1st.
Premiums
If you are paying your dental insurance premiums by the month, you should be using your benefits! ย Even if you have healthy teeth and arenโt in need of dental treatment, it is important to have your regular dental cleaning to help prevent and detect any early signs of cavities, gum disease, oral cancer and other dental problems that may existโฆ

Anyone who knows basketball, knows Michael Carter-Williams. ย If you have somehow missed the ride….allow me to catch you up…. ย Home grown local basketball icon, turned Syracuse Orange star, drafted 11th overall in the 2013 NBA Draftย by the Philadelphia 76ers, 2014ย NBA Rookie of the Year, and now Milwaukee Bucks Point Guard. ย What is cooler than even all of that, is that he grew up attending and then coaching a basketball camp started by his own amazingly talented mother and step-father. ย Now, your daughter can have the opportunity to play for the MCW Starz Team. Talk about a not-to-miss experience.
This past spring was the first MCW STARZ AAU Season. They had 11 players on the 11th grade elite team and all 8 juniors (3 were 10th graders) are going on to play basketball in college 5 scholarships, 1 Ivy league and 2 will play at D3 great academic schools!
They attended exposure events that showcased their players at the right level!
This fall they added two teams and this spring they would like 1 team for every grade, 4th-11th.

What is a Monarch Butterfly explosion? The butterflies migrate to Mexico to keep from freezing to death in northern climates. The air is cool and moist in the trans-Mexican volcanic mountains, cool enough to keep them inactive and in a state of sexual immaturity, called diapause, but not so cold that they will freeze.ย As spring approaches and the Earth’s temperature begins to rise, the butterflies sleeping in the oyamel fir forests need to get out of the hot sun.ย Millions explode from the trees, drink water from nearby mountain streams, and move to a cooler, shadier spot on the mountain.
I hope you’ll come join our program Thursday night at 7pm at the Sawyer Free Library. We’ll be talking all things Monarchs including the current status of the butterfly’s migration, habitat destruction here in our own community, and most importantly, ways in whichย we can all help the Monarch possibly survive the warmingย of the earth.
We willย be premiering the trailer for my forthcoming film about the Monarchs, tooย (also titled Beauty on the Wing). I hope to see you there!

Jordan (# 1)co-captain of Curry playing in next to last game for his college in spectacular quadruple overtime loss at Endicott last Saturday. Jordan played his usual outstanding game carrying the ball an unbelievable 35 (or more) times for some very tough yardage.
