I was moved she shared it with her mom, and her friends. Should I be surprised 20 somethings are sharing it? Less than 10,000 views when I saw it.
I didn’t know it had a name.

Hello my name is Skye and I am a sweet Border Collie mix about 1.5 years old.
My foster Mom says I am a total sweetheart but very energetic. I will do best in a home with lots of activity ( Maybe Agility would be good). I am crate trained and will whine a little but do very well in the crate. My foster mom says that I love lap time even though I am not your typical lap dog size. I love all the pups here from young to old and have gotten along with them all. If you are familiar with border collies or have an active lifestyle maybe I am the dog for you. Please stop by and meet me and see if we are a perfect match.

So, Alex Rodriguez returns to Fenway Park to face the Red Sox for what will most likely be the last time tonight.
It is hard not to think back to 2004 and that time when A-Rod slapped the ball out of Bronson Arroyo’s glove… like a four year-old who didn’t want to share a toy…during Game 6 of the ALCS. You may recall that the Red Sox went on to win that game…as well as Game 7, to go on to the World Series. Which, of course, we also won. Chills.
I photographed almost every home game during the 2004 season and that little episode only fueled the fans desire to win that much more as the team returned home. Which, I didn’t think was even possible.

Oliver Hazard Perry Passing Ten Pound Island on the way to Cape Pond Ice
Thanks to Scott Memhard for the heads up that the magnificent Oliver Hazard Perry was docking at Cape Pond Ice this morning. While the Ice House crew provided the ship with water, which takes several hours, the Perry crew took a tour of Cape Pond Ice and then had an hour to tour around Gloucester. The OHP takes no passengers, everyone aboard is a working crew member or working student.
Although this is the Perry’s maiden voyage, the captain and crew did an excellent job docking the ship. She is anchored at Rockport Harbor this evening. The Oliver Hazard Perry will be returning to Gloucester in September for a longer stay and at that time, the public will be able to tour the ship. See my post from yesterday with photos of the Oliver Hazard Perry sailing into Gloucester and a link to track the Perry.

While at the Marine Railway on Saturday met this nice gentleman named Richard Arnold. He was the last Captain on the Phyllis A. He told me they named the Phyllis A after his sister. Richard stated that he is one of 6 children, five boys and one girl named Phyllis. He also told me he served on the Nantucket Lightship.
Another reason I love visiting the Railways.
