CLOSELY RELATED…an exhibit that attempts to identify and examine artistic elements that appear congruently in works by artists related by friendship or marriage, or by filial kinship, or by the duality of artist and place or…other. (many possibilities).
Is our art influenced by our environment; our politics; the company we keep, and/or by our generic connections? And is what we create truly unique?
Or was Picasso right when he said:
“Every painting already has a mother and a father.”?
The Celtics blew it last night.
I still love this team and am so thankful for the entertainment rooting for them all season, they were so fun to watch.
If we had Kyrie, we win game 7 by 20 points easily.
Love Terry Rozier but Jesus H Christ what a horrible night. I just don’t understand why at the end of the game and him being that cold that he’s lofting up clanging three after clanging three.
I also don’t understand that when you get up by 12 points by driving the ball into the paint that you insist on hurling threes over and over instead of working the ball inside.
This was a bitter loss. I know we were playing with house money even getting this far without two of our top guys and without two other role players but we should have won this game.
As much as I can’t stand Lebron, you gotta give him credit. It seemed like there was a lot less flopping by him than in previous years and the man is a beast and he was classy in victory.
What a run. What a season. I can’t wait til next year.

Please consider attending one of our Cape Ann Communities Memorial Day Observances. On Monday May 28, 2018 we will dedicated our time to honor and remember the ultimate sacrifice bore by so many young Americans on various battlefields and remember all those Veterans who have passed away. We are brought together by the notion of preserving the memory of our loved ones and as Veterans, Gold Star, Families, Friends, and Community we will ensure that those memories never fade into the darkness.

Markouk Bread sells a variety of Lebanese influenced foods,
including saj-grilled flatbreads (markouk) that are topped with
combinations of zaatar, pesto, garlic sauce, fresh mint, tomatoes,
and onion, that have become very popular at local and catered
events. Another favorite is Helwi – markouk with cinnamon,
sugar, and butter. We also sell Mediterranean specialties
including hummus, fatayer, filled flatbreads with chicken, meat, or
cheese fillings, that are grilled on the saj to your order.
We try to source our ingredient from local farms to the extent
possible. In fact, our meat is from Seaview Farm in Rockport, MA.

Well, it happened again. We said, “Hey, it’s time for the spring clean-up of Burnham’s Field” and put out the word and the morning came and people came out of the woodwork to lend a hand. There was Gina Briguglio who’s been looking out for Burnham’s Field since the beginning and Deb Salah who with her family quietly plants flowers in the field and shovels the walkways in the winter without asking for credit and nobody ever knows. And City Councilor Melissa Cox who’s been Burnham’s Field’s biggest champion in the City for years. And Donna Ardizzoni and her One Hour at a Time Gang who clean up our city every weekend and as soon as they heard we were cleaning up the field raised their hand and said “How can we help?” and changed their plans last-minute so they could help out, too. And Aaron and Jamie and Brieana and Ambie and Bill and Steve and too many others to name. And so on a Saturday morning the people came to the largest park in central Gloucester and picked up litter and fixed a fence and cleaned over some graffiti and tightened some basketball rims and put up a community garden mural. And then the families came and the softball games began and the kids ran in the field and played on the playground and the sun shone over Burnham’s Field.
