The Gloucester Shop

Love this shop on Main Street.

Looking for a new outfit? The Gloucester Shop of Cape Ann at 48 Main St. has the latest Fresh Produce clothing. You can email at thegloucestershop@gmail.com for an appointment. Thanks for your support.

Last year I bought a couple of dresses and skirts there at the Gloucester Shop.  They are adorable and wash and wear very well.  Most important, I can wear my bathing suit under the dresses as well.

Welcome Back Oliver’s Harbor!

We noticed Oliver’s Harbor on Main Street had reopened for takeout and it was welcome news! In addition to lunch and dinner, they are also offering breakfast Saturday and Sunday 8 AM to noon. We ordered eggplant spinach ravioli, which tasted much better than this picture shows 🙂 , as well as the burger because I was looking forward to the super yummy fries.

They use an online ordering service which we tried for the first time and I have to say I was pleased by how easy, direct and thorough it was. Here’s a link to Toast Tab.

I see they also have a a Mother’s Day special available for preorder by a May 6 so if you see GMG Jimmy, give him the heads up. Follow Oliver’s Harbor on Facebook for updates. They are very good about getting their news out there! Welcome back!

Tour Of The Schooner Thomas E Lannon Workshop Getting Ready

Schooner Lannon 2020 Season Update We hope this message finds you well. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, our sailing season is going to start later than usual. We will be waiting to hear more information from our state and local government on when it is a safe time to operate. We are currently working tirelessly to get the boat in tip-top shape (with masks and plenty of social distance, of course). Typically, we would start our sailing season on Mother’s Day weekend. However, at this time, we anticipate opening in late June and sailing with limited capacity for the safety of our guests and our crew. Safety is and always will be the most important thing to us. We plan on exceeding the recommended guidelines, and will be sending another update about what precautions we will be implementing. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, and we look forward to being able to sail with you soon. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone out there who is doing their part, especially those on the front lines putting themselves at risk for all of us. We are truly grateful, and look forward to better days when we can all come together again. Take care, and best wishes.
