Good Harbor Castle From Rina Cavallini

My View of Life on the Dock

You may have heard Joey’s podcast with Hugh Mitchell from BoatGrub….and here he is in action. We were on the water off the back side of Wingaersheek over the weekend and got a kick out of watching Hugh delivering food to some of the boats near us.
If you missed this episode of Gloucestercast Live you can listen to it here
BoatGrub is the newest addition to the North Shore community catering to restaurants wishing to expand to the waterfront.
BoatGrub will deliver food orders to boats, docks, and beachgoers between the hours of 12 noon to 7 pm Friday to Sunday in both the Annisquam & Manchester-by-the-Sea Areas of Operation (AO). The delivery skipper will call to confirm the pick-up location. Make sure to look for the Boston Whaler with the BoatGrub flag. For orders to boats, or your private dock, please specify boat name and location or home dock location when placing the order. Look for our App and new restaurants coming soon.

Always interesting down at the dock! I love feeling as though I am smack in the middle of Glosta fishing history.
The Azorean seemed a good choice to wrap up the holiday weekend. We sat inside and took note the plexiglass has been installed between booths. They are unable to offer the bread and oil just yet, but Jim’s chicken with butternut squash ravioli was a big hit! I ordered some pizza despite the lady at a nearby table stating stridently that she was NOT having pizza for dinner….haha..no judgement because I thoroughly enjoyed mine!

Join us as we dance to music from the musical West Side Story. Many of the songs come from an album called The Songs of West Side Story. Contemporary artists do their take on the classic Bernstein tunes. Some choreography for this routine is from Casey who did Slumdog Millionaire and some from my teacher Katie Capelli and from me. So it is also a choreographic compilation. Say that three times fast!
If you are new to Nia with Linda, these streaming classes are free. Share with anyone who you feel needs a little movement and fun in their lives during this period of social isolation.
So here is how it works. It will be easier for you if you download the Zoom client for meetings for a desktop or laptop, or the app for phones and tablets.

I never tire of this view,

Peggy & Team Pop want to wish everyone a safe and satisfying holiday weekend.
We made some normalcy of an unusual 4th of July, which started with evidence of a growing turkey population.

Caught the Holy Mackerel at work recently.

Some of you may remember we had a hawk nest in the backyard last year but they did not return to that nest this year and we have been seeing fewer hawks than usual. Lately, however, I have noticed a hawk watching me from the old Coast Guard tower nearly everyday on my walk. I like to think he waits around for me.
Anyhow, a little story developed recently as the hawk was harassed by red winged blackbirds and forced to move his perch twice to avoid them. It’s my understanding that bigger birds do not chase the smaller ones away when they are being harassed in order to save energy needed for hunting and daily life. I understand, but, c’mon Hawk…a little talon or beak action in their direction might give you a break…….
These pictures tell some of that story from Dolliver’s Neck.

(PS: NOW would be a good time to buy in Boston.)
