Boat Prep Heritage Center

We are going to be prepping (sanding and scraping and painting) the two practice boats for the season inside the garage at the Heritage Center.  We need to finish the boats as soon as possible.  We can work on the boats anytime during the day or night since the boat will be inside.  If you have time please contact Geno Mondello at 978-879-9505 so he can open the garage for you.  We will get sand paper and paint there this week.  Any one with extension cords, sanders, scraper or able arms please bring them.  The more people that help the faster we get the boats in.  Also, we will need to clean up after each prepping.

Thank you in advance for your help.

St. Joseph’s Novena Mass Celebration

A small St. Joseph’s Novena Mass was celebrated yesterday by Fr. Benetti at the Bishop Fenwick High School Chapel to bless the annual altar for the Gloucester Novena women. I do not know most of them by name, but Felicia Ciaramitaro Mohan and her mother Pat as well as Sefatia Romeo Theken made the arrangements and attended the Mass. Several others were a big help as well, but I unfortunately do not know their names. The Mass was livestreamed and is available here on the Good Morning Gloucester blog.

It was a blessing on its own to be able to attend and share such an event especially at this hopeful time in the pandemic crisis.
