Two games with The Mets this week and huge weekend series with the Yankees in which we could pretty much eliminate them from playoff contention if we sweep them.

While the weather looked dreary, the circle of red chairs around the fire on the beach on Cape Ann Motor Inn’s private stretch of beach looked really inviting. Check out Cape Ann Motor Inn HERE. It is a wonderful place for vacationeers….and Staycationeers alike!

What a fun way to spend a Sunday in September! Congratulations to all the Fish Box Derby contestants, crews, volunteers and families for a great event. Here are some scenes from the racing, the spectators and the volunteers (the unsung heroes being the cadets and crew hauling the cars back up from the finish line). **We understand Master Jack Frontiero in the number 8 car (seen here with team members in the background) is this year’s winner!*

Just win baby!

Since Kate and I got our Zodiac at Brown’s Yacht yard with help from Rick Nardone and Dave Zingg I’ve become obsessed. I think if people got on one that is configured the right way, that they’d become obsessed too. I think for about 70% of local boaters they’d be a better option than a traditional hard-sided fiberglass boat. Go to Brown’s and talk to Rick about getting one.
