Urgent Town Meeting ~ Learn About Question 1

URGENT Town Meeting at Blackburn Performing Arts Tonight 5:30 – 6:30,
sponsored by MAASH (www.http://www.maash.org/)

The Massachusetts Advocates for the Arts, Sciences and Humanities (MAASH)
invites all members of the Cape Ann cultural community and their supporters
to attend an urgent town meeting tonight.

Learn about Question 1, the ballot referendum that would eliminate the
Massachusetts state income tax, and its potential impact on the cultural
community. Join MAASH to hear about the budget cuts and the current
political situation in Massachusetts and understand how it affects your
work.

You will also be able to give voice to your concerns and questions about the
coming budget year, the elections, and the future of arts and culture in
Massachusetts.

Blackburn Performing Arts is at 1 Washington St, Gloucester on the corner of
Main St.

Lobster Eating Tip From Mark Ring

Here’s a tip for you that Mark Ring shared with me.

After you steam your lobster snip the tips off the claws with some sturdy kitchen shears and drain the water out over the sink.  It will make the eating and clean up after dinner a snap and saves a mess.

Amazing that there isn’t a single nail to the entire inside frame of this post and beam barn that is going up in Essex.  All put together with wooden dowel pegs and notching.
