Do you know “Where Zat?” Take a guess, and watch for the challenge of identifying a Cape Ann location each week. Answer correctly, and you’ll become a member of the “I Know my Cape Ann” club! Good luck and have fun!  ~Sharon

5:08AM Pre Loading The Blog For When I’ll Be Away

See those sheets of paper to the left? it’s a scheduled grid I made three years ago. There are 7 columns and 15 rows- 7 days a week across and every hour on the hour from 6am to 8pm going down where we fill time slots.

In one or two more days all of my scheduled time slots will be filled through the 12th.  Except for a few that I’ll leave open in case I get that creative urge while I’m away.

It’s not easy cranking out quality material every hour on the hour.  Thankfully I have the greatest contributors in blogging who have just as much passion.

Happy New Year – 2013 Rocky Neck Plunge

Congratulations to all you brave souls that ventured out of your clothes and into that frigid air and water this morning.

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year everyone! The beach was filled this morning with lots of brave souls. Ichickened out and came just for photos and moral support. It sure looked frigid! I hope 2013 brings lots of good things.

The snow storm in Connecticut

I was home for Christmas, which was great. I didn’t make it back to Gloucester before the storm because I got laid up with a stomach sickness (the cause of my not having a post ready yesterday). As a consequence, I go to enjoy a good snowfall at home! We got around 8″ of snow.

The view from my parents’ house in Connecticut is always beautiful, but especially with snow!

After The Rocky Neck Plunge Hot Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Fish Chowder At The Cultural Center on Rocky Neck

Brenda Malloy Forwards-

FYI~
There will be a post swim get together open to all at The Cultural Center on Rocky Neck, 6 Wonson St. (site of former Christian Science Church), just down the street from where the swim will take place.  There will be hot coffee, hot chocolate and fish chowder served for everyone.  If you have not seen The Center yet, this is a wonderful opportunity to see what is going on there.   Hope to see you there!  If you’d like to bring some donuts or muffins, feel free!  PEACE!
