Uhmm, yeah, the new dry-fit shirts are gonna be sick!
Top quality moisture wicking material.
Here we decided on logo size with some cut-out paper logos. The color blue is gonna be deeper blue so it will really pop! Three color printing
When I tell you I’m not compromising one tiny bit on anything we make I’m telling you I’m not compromising on any product we order or ship.
Only stuff I’d want to wear.
#Boom!
Better get your sizes and colors in. Navy/White or Black shirts. Short sleeve or long sleeve moisture wicking material. Crazy comfort. Boooyaaaa!
William Arthur Ward Quote of the Week From Greg Bover
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
William Arthur Ward (1921-1994)
A Louisiana native, Ward was as near to a professional proverbian as one can find in American society. After a stint in the Philippines with the US Army, Ward was Assistant to the President of Texas Wesleyan University, founded by the Methodist Episcopal Church. He headed a number of church groups during his active community life and wrote an inspirational column that appeared in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for many years. Among the publications that featured his extraordinary output of quotable sayings were The Reader’s Digest, The Christian Advocate, and Science of the Mind magazine. Ward also served on the boards of the Rotary, the Red Cross, and the Boy Scouts of America.
Fish on Fridays
The Fish on Fridays series is a collaboration between Gloucester photographers Kathy Chapman and Marty Luster. Look for various aspects of Gloucester’s centuries-old fishing industry highlighted here on Fridays.

The Old Sloop Fair
The Old Sloop Fair at the handicap-accessible First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School Street, will continue with the traditional events — Silent Auction, White Elephants, Art Mart, Jewelry, Books, Handcrafted Goods, Handknits, Pet Corner, Bake Table, and Snack Bar — on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, and conclude on Saturday, July 27, with the Giant Yard Sale. There is an astonishing assortment of hundreds of items for sale. These photos show a few of the things in the Silent Auction.
The Old Sloop Fair has long been a popular Rockport summer attraction. It originated in 1957 under the guidance of Rev. Ed Nutting. In the early years of the fair, School Street was closed to traffic, festive lighting was erected, and a live auction was held in the street. Long-time Rockport residents may remember auctioneers Frank Gray and Karl Johnson, “grab lady” Peg Emerson, the roast turkey dinners, and the “Old Sloop” sailor caps worn by the volunteers.
The First Congregational Church was organized in 1755. The building that is now the church sanctuary was constructed in 1804 and originally served as the town meeting house. The tall steeple and white facade close to the Sandy Bay shoreline resemble a ship’s sail when seen from the sea, and the nickname “Old Sloop” was conferred by the fishermen. The steeple contains the Town Clock. Proceeds from this year’s Fair will go toward the church’s operating expenses and the restoration and preservation of the church’s buildings. A project to restore the roof, siding, and windows of the sanctuary building was recently completed, financed by a Community Preservation Act grant and by contributions from parishioners and townspeople.

Revised Entertainment Schedule
There have been a couple of minor changes to the entertainment — click here for all entertainment by stage. Click here for all musical entertainment by time.
Don’t sweat the parking. I’m always surprised when I hear people complain about parking in Gloucester. Honestly, I’ve never had trouble finding a parking space — not even during Fiesta. Last night I went to the Harbor Loop Concert. I got there after it started on a beautiful summer night in the height of the tourist season when every local hotel is full and what do you know? I found a parking space on Rogers Street at Harbor Loop! In fact I had my choice of at least half a dozen free (after 6) spots on Rogers within earshot of the music. Plus there were plenty of spaces at I4-C2. So don’t worry about the few Main Street parking spots that are not available during the Block Party. Trust me. You won’t have a problem finding a space within a couple minutes walk.

Blackburn Open Studios, Sat & Sun
We’re opening our studios to visitors this weekend from 12 to 6 on both Saturday and Sunday. The space is in the Blackburn Building on Main Street in Gloucester. There will be a total of 5 artists in the building opening their spaces, so lots to see — and if you are coming from out of town, bring your bathing suit and head to the beach after, water has been wonderfully warm lately.
Come through the parking lot to the entrance at the back of the building, and take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. There will be signs pointing the way.
I will have my vintage studio open, with lots of vintage clothes and accessories to browse.
After you stop by our studios hang around for the Gloucester Block party!
I hope you can make it!
