Schooner Ardelle and The Lannon

How lucky are we to live in a city that has schooners.  The Ardelle and The Lannon were sailing through the harbor on Sunday.  The Adventure will start sailing this weekend.

Maritime Gloucester

It is all about the light.  On Sunday Rick and I walked around Maritime Gloucester.  It is so wonderful to see all the boats, visitors, Coast Guard and the glowing light.

Have you seen the great new signage on Lexington Avenue

Super new signage at the corner Lexington Avenue in Magnolia, Gloucester, MA.  Wonderful creativity from this wonderful group of Magnolia Community Library committee members.  Thank you for all your work.

Sunset Sail on the Thomas E. Lannon

A great sunset sail with Captain Heath Ellis and his crew on the Schooner Thomas E. Lannon.

Also try to catch the seagulls fly in murmuration at sunset.

“Birds fly around at sunset because they exchange information on feeding sites found in the day while flying in a murmuration. Seagulls like starlings tend to fly in murmurations in circles at sunset to provide protection against predators and to keep warm before roosting when night falls.”
