Bouquet Sale

Thank you, Generous Gardeners, for all your hard work and the beautiful flowers.

The most beautiful event of the year is the

Generous Gardeners

Stacy Boulevard Dahlia Bouquet Sale

Saturday October 4th at 10:00 by the tennis courts

Generous Gardeners volunteers will be cutting and arranging the amazing dahlias for sale to the public Saturday morning. The flowers will be in vases or plastic sleeves for you to transport home. The dahlias are spectacular this year, so be sure to see the show of flowers before this event. Arrangements will not be set aside or pre-sold.

We do expect the flowers to continue blooming, so if you cannot make it this Saturday, after October 11th, find Antonietta on the boulevard (or call or text her at the number below) over the next few weeks and she will make individual arrangements for you to purchase up until first frost. The dahlias need to recover from this big cutting so this will not be until a week after the sale. After that we will be digging out the plants to store for the winter. We will not be selling tubers this fall. Any extra dahlia tubers will be sold at our spring plant sale that is always the Saturday before Memorial Day.

Thank you for your support.

Footprints in the Sand

Good Harbor on Wednesday afternoon was clear and crisp.  Taking a walk on the beach takes all the stress of the day away.  Grateful.

Sunset at Magnolia Pier

Walking at sunset is one of my favorite things to do, especially in fall.  Shore Road has many people strolling with their dogs and kids, enjoying the fall weather.

Is it September 28th or July 28th

On Sunday went over to Wingaersheek Beach for a walk.  Of course I had my bathing suit on just in case.  It was crowded with beach chairs, umbrellas and swimmers, including myself.  The weather was amazing and the water was warm.

Glorious

Friday afternoon near the Magnolia Pier

Taking a walk on Shore Road on a early fall day.   Butterfly, enjoying the calm waters in a skull and fishing off the float.

Safety Day 2025

Fun and more fun at Safety Day on Saturday.  Harbor Loop was full of people enjoying themselves.  The first responders who were there, talked and explained the different examples of safety.  One the favorites was Spot the bomb denotator.  The kids loved it.  The horses, K-9 dogs and helicopter were great.   Thank you all who participated.

Sunny Monday on Shore Road

On Monday, the sun was shining, and the air was crisp.  The ocean and sky were matching blue.  Kettle Island in the background has many birds hanging out there.

Lone White Sail

Walking Shore Road on these beautiful fall days, the ocean and sky are so blue.  There was a small sailboat going by, all lone.

Autumn Shadows

The shadows of fall were evident on Thursday on Shore Road with the view of Eastern Point Lighthouse.  Grateful

After the fog

On Tuesday morning it was foggy, but you could see the sun would shine.  The Magnolia Pier looked so peaceful when the fog started to lift.

Shore Road showed off the view.

High tide

Walking the Boulevard the other day, notice how high the tide was with another hour to come in.  My thoughts were, if it was Fiesta time, not a far drop for the greasy pole walkers.

Gloucester’s gorgeous Stacy Boulevard

Thank you to the Generous Gardeners for all their hard work and dedication.

Relaxing at the end of the day

Walking to magnolia Landing on Saturday near dusk, the sky was light a guiding light and people relaxing on a bench.
