Bob Cooper Is The Bomb!
B.C. Trucking & Excavating was kind enough to push back the snow pile at the end of our mothers driveway tonight after I spotted him clearing a nearby neighbors property. Mom’s carport was recently blocked with a giant mound of snow that was simply to big for a regular plow to move. If your in need of similar snow removal call Bob Cooper @ 1-978-375-3147

Bob Thank you so much for your service tonight! Mom is super happy to have her car back under cover for the winter!
Live From The Parking lot of Good Harbor Beach
The National Guard is in full swing removing snow from city streets caravaning dump trucks filled with snow to the parking lot of Good Harbor Beach. If you have been out and about town today you clearly could see how hard these crews are working to clear the snow before this weekends storm…Kudos to all involved in this enormous project!
Live From Main Street with Ladder One
Gloucester Fire Dept. is currently clearing snow and ice from the rooftops of downtown Gloucester buildings along Main Street. Earlier this afternoon while walking to get lunch at Passports with daughter Amanda I noticed the giant icicles hanging off the roof directly above the narrow shoveled paths along Main Street’s sidewalks, and quickly directed my daughter to cross to the other side of the street, fairing one would break away. I’m happy to see the fire dept. is addressing the problem before someone gets hurt .

Coconuts First Meal Post Surgery
Coconut rested peacefully after we finally decided to remove the hard plastic cone from her neck last night after several hours of whimpering caused by her frustration of being unable to get in a comfy position with it on. A friend hand delivered a soft inflatable cone after hearing about her discomfort, but that too was no go for Coconut. As long as I am within reach and or in her sight she continues to rest comfortable by the fireplace and remains uninterested in the stiches in her right lower eyelid. Coconut seems more bothered by the hair shaved on her leg during surgery then her swollen eye. Dr. Ray Cahill continues to check in and warns to keep a close eye on her if she is without the protective cone. This afternoon I fixed her favorite lunch “Grilled Basil Chicken” with the hope that the smell of it cooking on the grill, would motivate her to leave her cozy spot by the fire and draw her over to my feet in the kitchen, where she usually sits when I’m cooking. My plan worked like a charm. Coconut perked right up and enjoyed every last piece.
Thank you for the kind messages wishing Coconut a speedy recovery!
She’s a lucky pooch to be so loved by so many.

I Love when I learn something new from viewers of GMG Sista’s Dish…
Today I received this message from friend and GMG viewer Joanne Frontiero Joanne Frontiero Writes ~ My Mother and I worked for your father many years ago pulling the heads of the shrimp. Then they went into the secret room to the machine that could remove the eggs. I was in high school at the time and worked during a school vacation with Mom and my friend Jacquie!
Sista Felicia~ Thanks Joanne for sharing that. I remember the shrimp on the conveyer belt and remember all the women removing the heads, but I never knew there was a special machine to remove the eggs!
