My View of Life on the Dock

Should be a fun time at Marshall’s Farmstand for a Craft Show. Always love visiting my friend the Alpacas.

During the wonderful Phyllis A Art Show, taking a break and took a walk on the dock.

Walking on Old Salem Path on Thursday, noticed currents in the ocean. Please be careful swimming this weekend.

This Art Show is always fun at a great venue.

Saw this beautiful bird in the marsh in between Black and White Beach.

Please share to help spread the word.

There is more progress on the rebuilding on The Magnolia Pier. The pilings are getting closer to the shore and the curve of the pier is obvious.

This Art Show is always fun at a great venue.

On September 15, 2019 was the Magnolia’s Community Farmers’ Market last Sunday of this season. It was so much fun and successful. On Sunday the Cape Ann Animal Aid brought a beautiful puppy named Dobby. Love this photo of the love that puppies can bring. This little girl was adopted to her forever home.

At the beach, my favorite place, noticed how the clouds were reflecting on the wet sand.

Beautiful afternoon on Shore Road Thursday afternoon even though there was some rain drops.

A reminder from the Magnolia Community Farmers’ Market
Just a reminder, this Sunday is the final market 😢 Couple things…
Don’t forget that immediately following wrap up, as soon as the street is open again, we plan to head to the pub for an end-of-season toast! First round is on us!
So far our list contains the following vendors:
Marshalls Farm
Eclectic Clam
Breakwater Roasters
Classic Cooks
Cape Ann Animal Aid
Jodie M Tupperware
Sharon Lowe Photography
All Purpose Flowers
Rocky Shores Glass
Riverbend Bowls
Donna Arizona Photography
Bonnie Breads

Tony Fronteiro – Musical guest
The MCFM Committee will be setting up our own independent table to host the raffle. We will collect names, emails, and phone numbers. Guests need not be present to win. Classic Cooks has most generously offered us a GRAND PRIZE donation, consisting of a Thanksgiving Dinner for 6, delivered hot and ready on Thanksgiving day. This raffle ticket will be separate from the collection, as we plan to use it as a fundraising opportunity to benefit additional advertising for next season! We hope that throughout the day on Sunday you will entice your customers to visit our table to sign up for the raffle. Prizes will be pulled during the final 15 minutes of the market. In the next 24 hours, I will be posting a flyer and an event on our facebook page and we encourage you to share and post about it to build a broader audience for this week!
We could not be more proud of the 2029 Magnolia Community Farmers Market team and we are so fortunate to call you all our friends. Thank you for a wonderful season! See you all on Sunday!

In an effort to celebrate our success, we would love to turn September 15, the final market of the season, into a bit of a block party. We’d like to make it fun for the customers and vendors alike. We are hoping to put together a free raffle for customers and are asking vendors to participate by submitting an item as a fun prize. By handing out raffle tickets we will be asking for customer email to create a mailing list for our website (under construction) to better construct our advertising plan for next season. Our idea is that our musical guest, Tony Frontiero, will announce some winners of free give aways in the final hour. (Customers need not be present to win, but it would be nice; we can take the reigns on prize notification after the market closes if need be). We will be working with Classic Cooks to obtain a one-day permit to serve/sell mimosas on the street throughout the morning. If you are a food vendor, it would be nice if there were a few extra free samples available to keep the merriment flowing.
At the close of the market, we would truly love to have all our vendors join us for an end-of-the-summer toast at the Pub (JD Meyers and Friends) to congratulate us all on our amazing summer!
Best,
Alana and Rebecca
