My View of Life on the Dock
With all the running around we do at this time of the year, stop and watch the sun going down

Since I have had much interest on the adventure at Corliss Landing, thought I would put up another photo. Also would like to remind drivers that if your car or truck starts to roll just let it go. It is dangerous if you try and stop it. When my truck was rolling realized that I could not stop it and it could have run me over. Doing a little research read many people have been run over by their own vehicles.

Plus an oops moment, my truck started to move and ended up in the Annisquam River at high tide. Thank you Tallys for getting it out safely. Not sure what happened, at least I was not in the truck. Weird moment when you see your truck moving by you and no one driving.

At the State Pier on a cloudy Monday watching this fishing boat leave the safe harbor. The sign that states danger rocks, also makes you think about how dangerous it is for our fishing vessels to fish everyday.

If you have not been to Sherry’s Corner Cafe, 2 Lexington Avenue, Magnolia, Gloucester, MA 01930, 978-525-2177, you are missing out. I love the professor, chopped avocados, chopped tomatoes, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and wheat toast make my day. Her menu is wonderful for breakfast and lunch so yummy.

I do like the snow and how pretty it does make everything look. This is from last week’s storm.

At the Middle Street Walk I was at City Hall. Lots of great entertainment and fun. The Brewin Brass Band, Backyard Growers,Gingerbread Houses, Highland Dance Group and Miss Tina’s Dancers rounded off a fun time.

The second annual Holiday Market Place Hosted by Agape Brewing will take place Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 5 pm.

Wednesday was a really pretty day after the snow. Around sunset could not help myself and went to Good Harbor, State Pier and Magnolia Landing.

Went over to Pauline’s to get a couple of pairs of her great slippers yesterday. As always her shop never disappoints, plus you can get some great gifts and of course lots of laughs.

I know people complain about the snow, but it sure is pretty. We need to enjoy the peace and beauty instead of moaning about it.
