Arts Abound would like to announce the winner of this great photo

Arts Abound located at 21 C Lexington Avenue, Magnolia Gloucester, MA would like to thank all who bought a raffle ticket for the this great photo during the last few weeks.

The talented photographer, Laurinda Butcher’s Egret photo captured this beautiful bird.   The proceeds of this raffle went to the Open Door, and the winner is Dr. Dorothy Ganick.  We are all happy Dorothy won.  She is a great friend to Arts Abound and to all she meets..  Congrats Dorothy.

Please make sure you do not feed the ducks bread, it is not good for them.  Here is a list of food that is ok, these cuties loved the peas

  • Cracked corn
  • Wheat, barley, or similar grains
  • Oats (uncooked; rolled or quick)
  • Milo seed
  • Birdseed (any type or mix)
  • Grapes (cut in half or quartered if very large)
  • Nut hearts or pieces (any type but without salt, coatings, or flavoring)
  • Frozen peas or corn (defrosted, no need to cook)
  • Earthworms (fishing bait or dug from the garden)
  • Mealworms (fresh or dried)
  • Chopped lettuce or other greens or salad mixes
  • Vegetable trimmings or peels (chopped into small pieces)
