Coming up at the Little Art! 7/24 – 7/28

littleartcinema's avatarCape Ann Community

July 24th & 25th at 7:00 we have Jean-Luc Godard’s Hélas Pour Moi (Oh, Woe is Me), which is the story of journalist Abraham Klimt (Bernard Verley)’s investigation of a case of divine possession. In 1989 God enters the body of filmmaker Simon Donnadieu (Gérard Depardieu) and wishes to experience human desire, pleasure and pain. You can read a nice write-up of that here.

July 26th – 27th at 7:00 then July 28th at 2:00 we have Dario Argento’s debut giallo, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, where Sam Dalmas (Tony Musante), an American writer living in Rome, inadvertently witnesses a brutal attack on a woman (Eva Renzi, Funeral in Berlin) in a modern art gallery. Powerless to help, he grows increasingly obsessed with the incident. Convinced that something he saw that night holds the key to identifying the maniac terrorising Rome, he launches his own…

bids budgets beer-100.jpgBidding jobs is half art and half engineering. There are many different ways to do it and about a million factors to consider. It’s a challenge that we all face. We know its not an easy subject, and that it’s a little outside the comfort zone, but that’s why we have the tacos and beer.  We will hear about the journeys, processes and methods from 4 different professionals across the building industry. Bob Saget playing douchey Bob Saget on Entourage was awesome!

Family Ties is an American sitcom that aired on NBC for seven seasons, premiering on September 22, 1982, and concluding on May 14, 1989. The series, created by Gary David Goldberg, reflected the move in the United States from the cultural liberalism of the 1960s and 1970s to the conservatism of the 1980s.[3] This culture was particularly expressed through the relationship between young Republican Alex P. Keaton (portrayed by Michael J. Fox) and his ex-hippie parents, Steven and Elyse Keaton (portrayed by Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter).

The show won multiple awards, including three consecutive Emmy Awards for Michael J. Fox as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Curcumin and CBD for Pain Relief

Angel Wings Wellness's avatarCape Ann Wellness

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in Tumeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects, and is a very strong anti-oxidant (much like CBD). Why is this important? Because inflammation is the main cause for almost every chronic, “Western” disease. This includes heart disease, cancer, metabolic syndrome, Alzheimer’s and various degenerative conditions, just to name a few. By combining CBD with Curcumin in a soft-gel form, people are finally finding relief from pain like never before! You can find this product, and many more like it, at Angel Wings Wellness, 12 Roger’s Street, Gloucester MA, 01930. This particular product brought to you by one of our favorite partners: Joy Organics.
