City of Gloucester Public Works: Beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2020, the City’s contractor will begin prepping the following areas for paving: Parker Street, Harbor Loop, Bass Ave to Hartz Street, lower Eastern Ave, and Main Street from Rose’s to East Main Street.

Beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2020, the City’s contractor will begin prepping the following areas for paving: Parker Street, Harbor Loop, Bass Ave to Hartz Street, lower Eastern Ave, and Main Street from Rose’s to East Main Street. There will be no parking between the hours of 6:30AM and 5:30pm so that the contractor can complete the work in a timely manner. This weather-dependent project is expected to last through Friday, October 23, 2020.

We recognize the inconvenience to neighbors and motorists and will take all steps necessary to minimize the disruption. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Department of Public Works at 978-281-9785.

Canine osteoarthritis is an inflammatory condition marked by pain, stiffness, and loss of mobility. And it can leave dogs lethargic, irritable and reluctant to play, run or jump. Unfortunately, the condition is all too common in dogs.Researchersestimate that it affects at least 20% of all dogs older than 1 year old, with higher risk for older dogs.

The recentstudy, published in the journal PAIN, looked at whether different doses and formulations of CBD might help dogs suffering from osteoarthritis – and the results suggested that it could.
