The holidays are officially here, and Machaca is PACKED with fun, food, and festive community events all month long. Whether you’re stopping in for a family moment, supporting a great cause, or ready to ring in the New Year Machaca-style… December is the month to be at 14 Rogers Street.

TOY DRIVE — FINAL DAY!

🕔 5–7 PM — Photos With BATMAN!
It’s the final push for our annual Christmas Toy Drive! Bring the kids, bring the family, and bring a new unwrapped toy to donate.
Our very own superhero Batman will be here from 5–7pm taking photos, striking superhero poses, and helping us wrap up this incredible community effort.

WEST PARISH ELEMENTARY PTO FUNDRAISER

We love our Gloucester community, and this month we’re teaming up with West Parish Elementary PTO!
20% of all food sales during this timeframe will be donated directly back to the PTO.

As part of the annual Middle Street Walk on December 13 , the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church will hold its regular offering of music, food, craft vendors and historic building tours. Food includes two kinds of chowder, two kinds of Chili, hot dogs, desserts and beverages. The ever popular cookie counter sells homemade by the pound. Craft vendors are always popular, new this year is a used book table and greeting cards with images of our iconic church. Open from 9:00 to 1:30, lunch from 11:30.–

From folk songs from around the globe through joyful carols to Dreamweaver, Ola Gjeilo’s luminous setting of a mystical Norwegian folk poem, this program celebrates the universal spirit of the season through harmony and hope.
The concert is at 7 pm on Saturday, December 13, at the First Parish Church, 10 Central Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, 01944. Tickets are $25 and available at the door or on zeffy.com in advance.
