Bradford Ski & Board Program
In an exciting partnership with O’Maley School, Seaside Sustainability, Inc. (www.seasidesustainability.org) a charitable organization committed to providing adventure-based experiential education) is offering a new Bradford Ski & Board Program. Starting on January 9th, come ride with your friends or make new ones in this 6 week program that meets on Monday afternoons (Jan 9, 23, 30 and Feb 6, 13, 27). If needed, equipment rental is available, and if you’re interested beginner or refresher lessons in skiing or snowboarding are also offered! Bradford has 13 trails and an expansive state-of-the-art terrain park with lots jumps, rails and boxes! The cost per student for six Monday afternoons of skiing or snowboarding is $245 (lift ticket only) or $295 (lift ticket and lesson) and can be made by check or credit card. West Parish students paint for GEF 10th Birthday Gala

Students at West Parish Elementary School paint a garden bench that will be auctioned off at the 10th Birthday Gala for the Gloucester Education Foundation.
The Gloucester Education Foundation’s 10th Birthday Gala is a fundraising event to celebrate and support GEF, and the organization’s work in the Gloucester Public Schools. Garden benches painted by students at each of the Gloucester schools will be auctioned off at the event held on Friday, November 4th at the Beauport Hotel.
Stay tuned for a preview of the benches painted by students at the other Gloucester schools, and if you missed the beautiful one from the kids over at East Gloucester Elementary School, you can find it here.

Rev. Sue earned her Master of Divinity degree with distinction from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology (Boston College) in 1994. She has served as chaplain at Wellesley College, where she was part of a pioneering interfaith spiritual life program, working with Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Protestant, Unitarian, and Muslim colleagues and students. Later, as Chaplain with Community Hospice in Schenectady, NY she became a skillful spiritual counselor and end-of-life educator.In November 2014, Rev. Sue moved to Cape Ann with her husband, artist David Arsenault. She is Dean of Second Year students and teaches on the Spiritual Care of the Dying at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in NY, NY.

The Enchanted Kingdom – Halloween Fun without the Fright
The Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church will host “The Enchanted Kingdom”, an alternative to scary haunted houses, on Sunday, October 30 from 4-6pm. If you are looking for Halloween fun without the fright, come visit and play in the Fairy Garden, Elf Forest and Magic Castle. Created with three to ten year-olds in mind, the kingdom will delight all ages.
Enter The Enchanted Kingdom at 10 Church Street, Gloucester, MA. Admission is free to all. Donations will be gratefully accepted to support the outreach activities of the church.
