ROCKport Found!
Yesterdays Art Rock in Rockport was found.
FOB Andrea Toppan called her Husband Bill and ordered him to go find it.
Here is her communication with her husband Bill;
“So I call my husband Bill on his way home from work ( in Peabody) ” they (They? who’s they.) posted an art rock in Rockport front beach, I am texting you a picture, hurry go find it” ” but I haven’t left Peabody yet” doesn’t matter they just posted it, and Michael saw the post and said , next one is mine, right mom” 20 minutes later I get a call ” art rock in possession, anything else boss.?” ” yes, milk”… T is crossed now in possession of 6 year old Michael Toppan, his twin Jayden cant wait for the next art rock, adventure to capture his. Older brother William ( age 7) found one last winter on the boulevard.”
Sorry Bill. Some people are just a little off and you found one. 🙂

While we’re on the Subject
While Joey is all ramped up on losing his Pickle today, It got me thinking about all the words we use for each other that could be considered offensive. My non Italian friends used to call me “Guinea” all the time in our younger years. I never considered it offensive at the time. It all depends on how it’s said.
If say Kim Smith called me a dumb Guinea for some of my posts I make on GMG I would take offense. Because I know she’s not the type to use that kind of language. Now if Joey or Ed Collard (a non Italian) called me a Dumb Guinea I would not take offense because most likely it would be in a joking way. So what am I trying to say? Who the hell knows. Have a nice day.

WHY?
Missing. One Rock
Missing. One Rock
I stopped at GHB Saturday at about 7:30am and decided to create and leave an “Art, Rock” before the storm rolled in. I stopped by Joey’s Dock after and he posted the photos. I also ran into Ed Collard later in the day. Ed is known for scooping up the rocks. He denied taking it but said he knew who did.

SO ED WHO DID?

Big Brush, 20 Minutes, By Deb Clarke
From Deb Clarke;
My friend Kay stopped by yesterday afternoon for a few minutes. i asked her to sit while i set up a palette. 4 colors: cad yellow medium, phtalo blue cobalt hue, cad red medium and alizarin (wanted grumbacher red, but i’m out; hence the 2 reds) and white. twenty minutes a 2 inch brush and this is the result. i’ve already started rubbing some of the profiles so that i can work on it some more. i have not set up a full palette in a long time, as a lot of the work during the past year or so required small batches of color, mixed each time i started to work. it felt good to move my eyes and arms as Kay kept moving around too (she is very animated.). the challenge for me is to keep the paint ‘fresh’ as the work develops. can’t remember the last time i worked from a model. should do this more often, just to keep the motorskills sharp. did not reach a ‘calgon take me away’ moment, but had a blast thinking about nothing except what color is this, what direction is that, how does this relate to that, and kiss (keep it simple stupid).
best, deb.
