Jujuba returns home safe and sound.

I received the news late yesterday that Jujuba had been returned home safe and sound to her owner. A local pet store contacted the owner  and that an older woman had the dog. I am so happy and thankful for such good news.

Magnolia to play The Harbor Loop Concert this coming Thursday 7-26-2012

Magnolia (now a 7 piece band) will be playing from 7-8 next Thursday?  We’ve evolved into a pop / alternative kind of sound, with roots stemming from a traditional folk/alt-country infused Americana sound.  It promises to be a great show, and will be our first show this year with our new lineup (new bass player and drummer).

Michelle Willson joins Dave Sag’s Blues Party tonight @ The Rhumb Line

Thursday – 9:00 to 12:00 ~ Dave Sag’s Blues Party’s guest ~ Michelle Willlson

Dave says,

It’s another life-threatening situation this week as I bring in the big guns in the form of Ms. Michelle Willson, general practitioner and channeler of the spirit of Dinah Washington. Miss W. has been busy of late whoopin’ and a-hollerin’ till broad daylight. This time I get to learn her songs cuz I’ve snagged Mr. Mike Miele, her erstwhile glitarist to dominate the proceedings and make me behave. Rubber suits are recommended.Oh, and, lest we forget, Mr. Seth Pappas, of the famed Jas. Montgomery Band will be furiously pounding his mortar and pestle with a bone in his nose. Somethin’ to see, that boy. We have a saxophonist in mind, too, but we’ll just have to see who it is. So, don’t be a cube, Rube: go ape.

This is Jujuba she has been missing since last Friday night.

Jujuba,  became missing on Summit street in Gloucester last Friday night. If anyone finds her or knows anything PLEASE call Jessica at 978 879 6623 or 978 930 2704. She is very loved and we are VERY worried.

I know what it is like to have a missing pet. I am hoping someone found this dog and fell in love with it. I also am hoping if this is the case that they will show some love and return it to its owner. The police said to give it up because there has been reports of a coyote in the area. The owner and friends have not given up. They continue to search, posters are up around town and it has been posted on some websites too.

Thank you,

Joanne

Thursday night blues party @ The Rhumb Line to host Ricky “King” Russell

Thursday – 9:00 to 12:00 ~ Dave Sag’s Blues Party

Dave Says,

It’s that time again! We’re gathering all the troops to pay obeisance to the king of the Boston blues Scene: Mr. Ricky “King” Russell. Approved by Pope John Paul Ringo! Everytime he plays here we gotta call in a hazmat team! I’m oiling down my bass in preparation for the great sleazy, cheesy, wheezy effluvium that’s gonna emanate from the throbbing stage. Master of the gritar, this guy will chase you back under your own personal rock where it won’t be safe to come out for weeks! You’ll see!
Unfortunately , his doppleganger on drums, Mr. Ed Scheer, is  down with a bad case of St. Vitus dance, and coupled with unsuccessful cosmetic weenis surgery, won’t be able to hit a stick for several weeks. So a surprise drummer is in the pipeline, trying desperately to get out! Fortunately Mr. Greg T. and myself will be there, litter in tow, to assist in medical emergencies. The bombing will start in 5 minutes….
