Ricky “King” Russell to join Dave Sag’s Blues Party this Thursday night @ The Rhumb Line.

Dave says,

It’s time to check engine light and tighten down the thumbscrews as we welcome back that truly transformative king of the Blues: Mr. Ricky “King” Russell. Everytime this guy shows up, I have to go to a day spa for three days to recover and get my toes…well, never mind. Put an air raid horn on the jukebox, drink 12 cups of coffee, and you’ll know what this guy sounds like.

Worse, he’s bringing “Mr.Ed” Scheer with him. Haven’t seen him in awhile since his stint on Celebrity Rehab. I think his elbow is fine, too. Ed D. is the finest frontman, singer, and drummer I’ve ever heard, I swear to Gawd!
That’s it! 3 singers, 2 gunslingers and a cleanup man. You miss this, you will pay!

Evan Goodrow joins The Dave Sag’s Blues Party tonight @ The Rhumb Line

Where did the week go? Sorry I’m so late with my missive but I’ve had trouble removing the hose clamp off my back.  So I’m suffering’: big deal….Just makes that halo over my head seem brighter. Anyhow, please remember to change your underwear and come on down to the Rummie this week as we present that galvanic superstar of mishegas: Mr. Evan Goodreau. I love playing with this guy; he’s so fearless and accommodating, too. We’ll share the vocal duties and rev up our Irish Ace of Pace, Mr. “Molto” Benny Benson, make him work up a big appetite.
And Monday, don’t forget, I’ll be down at the Rose Baker Senior Center from 1 to 3 , hooting’ it up with the Good Old Salty Jazz Band. Once again: it’s free! Gotta go! My spine is squaking!

Click here to listen to Fly Amero & Lance Hoppen on North Shore 104.9FM: http://ns1049.podbean.com/2012/08/20/curtain-up-08-19-12/

”STILL THE ONE”         “DANCE WITH ME”         “LOVE TAKES TIME”
“What’s next?  Where do you guys go from here?”  The answer, according to longtime ORLEANS member, Fly
Amero, is the same as it always has been in the entertainment business – the show must go on!  Or, perhaps an
even better reply may be found in the words of Larry Hoppen himself…   “ LET THERE BE MUSIC ! ”

John Hall, songwriter and co-founding member of the classic american pop group, ORLEANS, rejoins his friends
(Fly Amero among them) once again as they carry on through the 2012 calendar year in honor of their fallen
comrade, Larry Hoppen. This rare New England performance features not only the legendary John Cafferty and
Michael “Tunes” Antunes (formerly of the Beaver Brown Band and Eddie & the Cruisers)… but also includes a
“walk-on” appearance by the great Joe Bouchard (formerly of Blue Oyster Cult).  Local legend Allen Estes will
open the show, and 10% of profits go to the North Shore YMCA Summer Camp Program.  Doors at 7:30pm!
