The Marvin Waller Retrospective at the North Shore Arts Association celebrates the life and legacy of Cape Ann fine artist, Marvin Waller (1928–1994). Born in Chicago, and ultimately settling in Rockport, Massachusetts in 1959, Waller produced numerous drawings, woodcuts, and paintings inspired by his life on Cape Ann and informed by his training in drawing the figure at the Art Students League in NYC. This premier exhibition showcases Waller’s extensive body of work and brings renewed attention to his life commitment to the arts. All are welcome to attend the reception on Saturday, May 30, from 1PM – 3PM.
