Each year spectators gather to watch the live re-enactment and narration of the story of baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Bethlehem inn and the stable. The pageant begins with a torch lit procession which starts at Dock Square and proceeds up Main Street to the Congregational Church. The evening is brought to you by the Rockport Art Association and Museum rockportartassn.org.
Everyone’s invited to join as an onlooker or participant in the roles of children of Bethlehem, ladies of Bethlehem, shepherds or torch bearers. Costumes supplied for all ages and all sizes. For more information or to participate, please email Pat Alto patalto@comcast.net
