Emidio Silva created a special garden modeled after many gardens on the island of Pico Azores. This creation was created right here in Gloucester Massachusetts. The video was created by Antonio Faria a very talented videographer of life in the Azores and now visiting the US. The video is in Portuguese but you can see all the love Emidio and his wife have put into this gem of a garden here in Gloucester.
We also were very fortunate to have Emidio give us a personal tour of his garden.

Where in town is this? I’ve never noticed a red windmill! Too bad subtitles weren’t added; would love to know what he’s saying. My grandparents were from the Azores. My grandfather had a garden and made wine, but closer to Boston. His business was making musical instruments.
