  1. We’ve had them pretty regularly from 2000 through 2010 on Page St/ Way Rd, the other side of the long golf hole down Morland. Since the explosion of Coyotes the sightings are down. I did see one in the past year.

  2. Are there way fewer foxes because the rising number of coyotes in East Gloucester drive ’em out? You’ve probably covered this 112 times on the blog and I missed it…

    1. That is my guess…I don’t think they were ever abundant…and I would say “driving them out.” Maybe displacing the foxes because the coyotes out compete them for food.

  3. Had a bunch way back in 50’s & 60’s I am pretty sure they got chased by a dogs then they roamed a little free then…But yes, coyotes are foxes natural enemy size here and same are will kill but don’t normally eat them …Dave
