The footage at the end was the boat offloading at our dock, 06:30 Our dock where Joe offloaded. Uncle Charlie, Dennis McKillop and Steve Spaceman offloading him in this clip. It’s the spot where a most of my Instagram photos are taken from almost every day.
Right here-
Not much has changed. Same winch. Same hoist. Different generation.

Capt. Joe Piscitello, Cook Gus Piscitello. my mother’s brothers. Wonderful fishermen with so difficult a life at sea. Great generation of fishermen, hard workings supporting their families and supplying us with good fresh fish. My Aunt Pauline was so beautiful, making a Sunday dinner for her family every week. So many memories. How I miss the happy times with my dad, too on the “America” and “Little Flower” and our Sunday dinners and family gatherings. A new generation. My dad always warned his daughters “Don’t marry a fisherman. That life is too hard.” My dad sent my brother to college and so did my uncles send their sons for a better life. I have great respect and gratitude for that generation. They followed their father’s footsteps. Now life is so different.

This is wonderful. It does make me feel old, as so much has changed in the intervening years. Did the video say 200 fishing boats? How many today? Thaks for posting.
