Every year, hundreds of Gloucester fishermen went to sea and never returned. Howard Blackburn should have been one of them. His story of survival against the odds made him a local hero, but he didn’t stop there. He went on to perform one of the great feats of seafaring – and then he did it again.

The Unitarian Universalist Church is a partner location for the Middle Street Walk also held on December 9th.
Highlights of the fair include: Visit with Santa, Breakfast [muffins, donuts, bagels, coffee, tea, juice]
Lunch [clam chowder, vegetarian chili, sandwiches, soda, water], Cookie Walk, Bake Table, Books, Brad’s Unique Boutique, Equal Exchange coffee and chocolate, Grace Center cards & photos, many Artisan Tables, S’mores on the front lawn, Concert by Gloucester High School Chorus, Tour of the Gloucester Meeting House and Caroling
