Thank you all so much for your words and thoughts. Phyllis’ 3 year battle with colon cancer followed the deaths within a year of her favorite aunt, our mother and Phyllis’s husband. She also suffered a broken ankle and nearly lost her home to Hurricane Sandy. Each event made her stronger and she passed in peace, acceptance and dignity.
To mourn her loss amidst the beauty of Cape Ann and its people is the most Barbara and I could hope for. Thank you for taking us into this wonderful community.
