Dear Rubber Duck,
Do not do that. I have been running sailing races Monday through Thursday afternoons since March 14. Believe me if it has not been raining and blowing half a gale it has been snowing and blowing a full gale weekdays until yesterday. It may change now since our last races of the regular season were yesterday against Concord Academy off the fish pier. However there is a rumor that we may be running post season races since we won them all during the regular season. Therefore you can expect a resumption of miserable weather next week. Stick to Saturday and Sunday for optimum Banana Boat weather. I have not even taken the sun screen out of my ditty bag yet this spring.

I used to be able to get warm weather arrive if I started wearing shorts and no jacket. But except for freezing my butt off it is not working. This happened in 1986 when April and May were consistently raining on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I am sporting some really nice Natucket Red shorts from LL Bean and I’ll see if I can get this all turned around.
