You know a memory came back to me after talking with mom about some items growing up that way.There was a man who lived in Riverdale Close to Willow Rest Named Whinchester, whom had little collection boxes given to households we would save spare change in for Salvation Army or VFW annual offering? I do remember the kettle down on main street all lights strung from poles I know it’s spring now 🙂 ! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
