After a podcast on fishcakes Monday morning with Joey I zoomed over to the Fort Square Café for a late breakfast. Heidi served up this beauty from fresh hake. She makes them only from time to time for her famed Cape Ann Reuben.

Last weekend at the Annual Meeting of the American Schooner Association at Mystic Seaport the crew of schooner RENEGADE went on and on raving about Heidi’s breakfast fishcakes. They have fishcaked there two years running now, and a return to the Schooner Festival and Fort Square is on their bucket list for this year.
