When we were doing repainting in Military think they stopped lead based paints in 1978 the same year I cam on board…As we got tasked with any painting had to check this hard part was when outside our country as many other less developed countries may still use lead based paint. The bottom line is this a good project when you think in terms of stripping down many time paint over lead based underneath. Dave
