For all those who are separated during this upcoming valentines wherever you may be this song is dedicated to you with words to reflect upon and smile bring the memories back 🙂 Walk with the wind at your backs and sun on your shoulders! 🙂
Thanks but I am just a messenger on the path of life. Plus all of you at GMG know how much work it is to maintain I honestly don’t know how one person can do this this without those helping hands and the drive here (GMG) is where I come to escape! Being so far away and time zone differences make it even harder :-O I would much prefer to walk or bicycle to a friends house (Weather permitting). I know I try to respond to all because I owe everyone that as they take the time to put it all together out of busy schedules (SORRY) 🙂 Dave
P.S. Sharing is what it’s all about carry in one hand and give away in the other when you can! I love the community and I be totally honest is the people that make it the gift it is today believe me I see it here too but not like that way!
Yes this picture reminds of the community when you needed to someone to guide you -and what a place with the cold weather window sun and your kitty the view oh yes! There are so many far away serving American remember them…Even more so those who are out in the conditions in bad weather making a living or public safety 🙂 One of my favorites in the 1970’s 🙂 .
Carole King – So Far Away (with lyrics)
So Far Away”
So far away
Doesn’t anybody stay in one place anymore
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
Doesn’t help to know you’re just time away
Long ago I reached for you and there you stood
Holding you again could only do me good
Oh, how I wish I could
But you’re so far away
One more song about moving along the highway
Can’t say much of anything that’s new
If I could only work this life out my way
I’d rather spend it being close to you
But you’re so far away
Doesn’t anybody stay in one place anymore
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
Doesn’t help to know you’re so far away
Traveling around sure gets me down and lonely
Nothing else to do but close my mind
I sure hope the road don’t come to own me
There’s so many dreams I’ve yet to find
But you’re so far away
Doesn’t anybody stay in one place anymore
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
Doesn’t help to know you’re so far away
