How can something so ugly taste so good?

My son Salvatore just made the order for our thanksgiving Turkey. We will be getting between a 16 and 20 pound bird this year. http://www.tendercropfarm.com/

I’m a cheap guy. So spending a few dollars more on a fresh Turkey is a big deal for me. But the Taste is worth it.

We go to Tendercrop Farm. I’m sure there are a few other Farms out there that GMG Readers can recommend.

Will Joey be Grilling a Turkey this year? I’ll pitch in if he wants to try one before Thanksgiving. Let him know if he should.

  1. I think you got it right. I paid a big premium for a fresh (never frozen, slaughtered yesterday) bird raised locally. I don’t have a great affection for turkey and thought my dollars were probably squandered. Boy was I wrong! I won’t be buying the usual turkeys again.
