How can something so ugly taste so good?

I’m a cheap guy. So spending a few dollars more on a fresh Turkey is a big deal for me. But the Taste is worth it.
We go to Tendercrop Farm. I’m sure there are a few other Farms out there that GMG Readers can recommend.

I think you got it right. I paid a big premium for a fresh (never frozen, slaughtered yesterday) bird raised locally. I don’t have a great affection for turkey and thought my dollars were probably squandered. Boy was I wrong! I won’t be buying the usual turkeys again.
