  1. It was one of those happenstances that you think about for days afterward. Meeting Anita yesterday was one of the most poignant experiences of my life. As Paul said- Anita lost her son while he was serving our country. I was missing my grandson, Chris, who is serving in Afghanistan, and of course, Anita’s story ripped through my heart. May we keep reminding ourselves of the sacrifices that families make for us whether or not we agree with the decisions of our loved ones or the decisions of those who govern us. And thank you, Anita for your hugs! I just chatted with Chris on Facebook a few minutes ago. I’m so thankful that he’s okay.

  2. Such rare and beautiful life experiences of people brought together through the vehicle of Good Morning Gloucester. Such lovely smiles on both Paul’s and Anita’s faces. Does my heart good.
