This East Gloucester House is for sale at a very reasonable $499,000. I haven’t been inside it or have anything financial to gain by it’s sale. I do however think it is in an incredible location close to Good Harbor Beach, steps to the Golf course, and in the heart of God’s Country- East Gloucester at 47 Beach Road. Ron Goulart and Jen Anderson have the listing. You can check it out at the website- www.JenandRon.com
I love the wraparound porch and classic lines of this house.

Spearze, thanks for pointing that out. I’ve been a mess trying to get the blog out the past couple days as my computer is messed up with crazy viruses and between editing on a mini computer in which I can’t even see the text I’m typing and using Sharon’s laptop which is painfully slow but at least functional, it’s a miracle I get anything up at all. (Much thanks to Sharon for letting me use her laptop while my computer is down)
The link should be fixed now. I see a bunch of people clicked on that wrong link by the stats I have access to. I’m rather surprized that you were the only person to point it out. Thanks so much for that.
In any case, the link should be functional now.

I went through the house a few weeks back during an “open house” tour. The house is loaded with the charm and features of houses built early in the 1900’s. Gorgeous wood floors, fireplaces, wood work, high ceilings, etc. It will be a labor of love (and/or a fat wallet) to bring the house back to its true glory. I hope that it gets bought by a family to live in it, as opposed to a flipper or someone that would condo-ize it. It’s one of those houses that needs a family to live in and love it.

Thanks Hedge… I was going to ask Mr Zanny to come look at it with me, but I can’t deal with any more renovations!! If I move, I want a Turn key deal!
