Wish Restaurant Centerpiece At The Hotel South Beach Miami

The Mrs was impressed by the simplicity and elegance of this Centerpiece at Wish Restaurant in The Hotel at South Beach.  If y’all ever get an invitation for a dinner party at our house don’t be surprised to find the very same style centerpiece on the table.

Paul Murray Represents!

From Toby Pett-

I decided to take a road trip and to explore a few spots that I have been more than curious about…of course, there are also visits with friends along the way…

attached is a picture of Paul Murray who you know of as a “tuna assassin”…he is sought after also as a hunting guide and volunteers a great deal of time with academic organizations assisting with migration research by attaching special tags which are tracked by satellite…

when not working with his clients he catches his breath at his home in Georgia, a beautiful spread with cypress swamps, etc. …nestled amongst the large plantation tracks at a location that I wont reveal to protect his privacy…

you will notice the Murray Products logo on his truck, representing his family’s business manufacturing items for “sport fish” boats,  and the other logo, with a Blue Fin tuna over a Yellow Fin, which is one of the organizations that help the academics do research, known as Pura Vida…and now his truck sports the GoodMorningGloucester logo…

hope that you are enjoying the snow and the cold weather…

Raising Money For The Family Of Matteo Russo

Here is the logo-

While away I was wracking my brain trying to think of some ways that would have a decent impact to help the family of Matteo Russo.

I just got in touch with Rob Newton, the manager of The Cape Ann Community Cinema and asked if we could donate a portion of what the gate is from the upcoming G-GAP presentation at Cape Ann Community Cinema to the fund that has been established for Matteo’s family.

He said sure, so Cape Ann Community Cinema will take the regular gate and 30% will go to the fund for the family.

The event is going to be January 28th at 7:00PM

There’s more though.

I just ordered a bunch of T shirts that Paul Frontiero has graciously agreed to silk screen for free and Beth Swan From Beth Swan Design is offering her winning GoodMorningGloucester Logo design and art skills to the project.

So if you haven’t been able to contribute to help the family but would like to, I should have the Tshirts at the GGAP next Wednesday night for $20.  100% of the money from the sale of the TShirts will go to the family on top of the money from the gate.

It’s not going to be a percentage of the money from the sale of the tshirt minus the cost, but every cent donated for the tshirt will go to help the family.

Hopefully some of the regular CAO and fans of GMG and will come on out in support.

Much thanks go out to Rob Newton, Paul Frontiero and Beth Swan for helping with the project.

Who Are They Kidding? Phony Environmentalism

These little placards are now in most hotel room bathrooms.  Wouldn’t you have way more respect for them if they just said we want to try to save labor cost and time by not having to wash your dirty towels instead of trying to play the “We care about the environment card”?

Gloucester At Dawn- Dragger Elizabeth Covered In Ice

See the ice making horizontal icicles from the wind on the way back from fishing.  I sure hope all that ice was made when they were done on deck and sipping on some hot coffee in the pilot house for the ride home.
