Turkeys in the trees

During the storm on Tuesday, the turkeys were flying everywhere.  At least they were not flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.

The snow can be a nuisance, but it is certainly pretty especially with this cardinal taking shelter in the bush.

Mid February snow reflections

Since the weather this week is starting to moderate, much more pleasant to take a walk at sunset.

Snow covered Stacy Boulevard

Walking on Stacy Boulevard Friday, the snow looked pretty and peaceful.  Thank you DPW for all your hard work in keeping the paths clear.

Fun times at Stage Fort Park on a snow day

When the snow comes, the sledding begins.  As I was watching the kids snowboarding, sledding and just having fun, makes me want to get on a flying saucer and take it down the hill.  Notice the little one it pink being pulled by a sibling.

Quiet and serene

Coolidge Reservation across from the Magnolia Landing is a Trustees Property.  You can take a great walk around Clark Pond, up to Ocean Lawn and also to Magnolia Beach.

When the tide is low you can see the form of The Magnolia Pier especially with a dusting of snow.

A walk-through Rafe’s Chasm

On Tuesday afternoon took a quick walk through Rafe’s Chasm.  Definitely was a quick walk due to the 9 degrees.   Even though it was very cold, the fresh air feels good.
