Another foggy and rainy Saturday

Crazy as it sounds, I like the fog.  The air is always briny, and the fog feels good on my skin. Magnolia Pier looks mysterious in the fog,

Magnolia Pier from the newly installed float

Now that the ramp is in and the float, walking to float shows different perspectives.

Flags, ramp, float on Magnolia Pier

So nice to see the ramp down and float attached to Magnolia Pier.  Summer is here.

Spring and flowers

Walking Shore Road on Tuesday late afternoon was so nice.  The flowers are blooming, and sun did not go down until almost 8:00.

End of a beautiful April day

Shocking that I went to the beach on Monday.  Had to go and get out of the office.  The beach is not only my happy place, but also a healing place.

Multicolored harbor

Walking Shore Road to the Magnolia Pier on Monday with the sunshine was delightful.

A rare sunny day in April

On Monday my daughter Ericka and her dogs came up to visit.  It was a glorious day, and the sun felt so good.  To walk to the Magnolia Pier was wonderful.  No hats, no gloves and not being cold.

Finally, a little sun on Friday

When walking at sunset on Friday, the temperature was 60 degrees, and it felt so nice.

Inviting

The Magnolia Pier with the curve makes it very inviting especially as the sun is setting.  So grateful

Boston in the background

The other night of course, I went walking Shore Road.  Seeing Boston in the background, decided to check how many miles.  According to Google Maps, Magnolia Landing, Gloucester, MA to Boston is 29 miles.  It may not be totally accurate due to the fact, that Boston skyline from Magnolia, is the Prudential, John Hancock building and the financial district.   On clear evenings you can see the coastline of Quincy down to the South Shore.  So lucky to live here.

Patiently waiting for the float at the Magnolia Pier

With the warmer weather coming, walking has been easier to be outside.  On the Pier, Tuesday, noticed how the ramp wants the summer to get here.

Blue Bench

This blue bench matches the blue sky and blue Magnolia Harbor.  The bench is popular to sit and watch ducks, sunset and people watching.

A late sunset

On Friday, the sunset group walked Shore Road with lots of clouds.  Could not see the planets, but all of a sudden, the sun made a glorious appearance.

Not great sun sets this week.

Even when it is cloudy at sunset, the walk on Shore Road is always a must.  The sunset on Tuesday was silvery.

Cold Magnolia Sunset

The Magnolia Pier design is a clean and sharp.  To take a photo the other night, got out of my truck, and immediately felt the wind pushing me to the ground.  Had to hold on to the truck door handle.  It can be fun.

End of the pier

When walking at sunset, we all have to walk to the of the pier and touch the end.  Whatever helps you get through the day.

Pastel Sunset

On a cold and windy evening, the sunsets seemed more like a pastel painting.  It was a little scary walking out on the pier with the wind.
