A cloudy day on Magnolia Pier

Took a walk to Magnolia Pier after the rain.  We did need the rain and the flowers are happy.  Magnolia Harbor was quiet and peaceful with Kettle Island waiting for kayakers.

More signs of summer

Went to the beach late Wednesday afternoon and saw a familiar sight.  The moorings are going back in at Magnolia Harbor.  Love the dog on the boat.

Another gift from mother nature

The sunset on Thursday night was incredible.  Our sunset club really enjoyed fall sunsets.   Thank you, mother nature.

Beautiful weather

Love this early fall weather.  I call this weather, beach, hiking, walking, and being outside weather.

Sunday afternoon kayaking

Sunday was a beautiful day to go kayaking in Magnolia Harbor out to Kettle Island.

Wind surfing in Magnolia Harbor

Love the colorful sail.  Spent the afternoon after work on Thursday swimming and enjoying the beach.   The wind started and a wind surfer came out.

Amazing sunset over Magnolia Pier

I guess this is called a sun pillar, so glad I saw it. It was beautiful.  According to Wikipedia, this is what it is:

Sun pillars are beams of light that extend vertically upward (or downward) from a bright light source, such as the sun or another bright light low on the horizon. They can be 5 to 10 degrees tall and sometimes even higher. They might lengthen or brighten as you gaze at them.

They’re beautiful and wondrous. They’re also the source of some UFO reports!

Beautiful and amazing sunset after the rain

Who would of thought after all that rain and wind on Friday the sunset was incredible.  The pinks and orange colors were so calming.  Love where we live.
