Thursday night let’s welcome back Mr. Evan Goodrow to the Rhumb line stage. It’s been a while since Evan has been here as he has been in recovery from a horrifying hair-conking accident. But, rest assured,Ā he’s doing fine and just slavering to regale you with his high-energy antics. Always takes me a day or two to recover. Dave Moore provides mortar, and I play the trowel.

Dave says,
Mr Tim Gartland returns! Presently living in Nashville where he is the top-rated John DeereĀ® Salesman,he not only plays a mean harmonica and sings like an angel, but he has just returned from Rio, where his synchronized spitting team brought home the Gold for the good ol’ USA.
He’s dragging in a crack team to black him up, featuring Mr. Tom West, dishpan handed keyboardist for the (Eupho) Mystics, Pete Henderson,on catarrh, who ,like me is still in recovery from last week’s Sax Gordon show, and Forrest “Tucker” Padgett to make butter on the skins. A great time!

Great night with Ā threatening clouds. The band played until8is because those clouds gave way to rain. There were so many familiar songs with some originals here and there. This band was real sweet and and so smooth. I think it’s safe to say the crowd loved them… I know I did.
The exploding cigar of honky sax, Mr. Gordon “Sax” Beadle, returns to The Rhumb Line. They broke the mold before they made this guy! Always a party!
sax
And he’s bringing along the Mysterious Mr. Pete henderson to thwack the glitar as well as Mr. Chris Rivelli, of Broomful ‘O Blooze fame to hit on all cylinders. Don’t miss it!

Are you ready? Do you suffer from 4 weal drive? Wheys and miens? Corrosive carbuncles? Well, we offer the perfect ointment for your troubles in the form of Ms. Lisa Marie. Yes, this Thursday Ms. LM descends through the clouds spraying sunshine on all those parts that you fear need toning. Gonna be a big dance party. She’ dragging in Mr. Johnny Juxo on the keys and those fabulous wombat-skinned pointy Italian Shoes to shake things up. A drummer of dubious origin, too? I’m not sureā¦.
It’s also Dave Trooper’s Going away party! From 6 to 8 pm, come by and wish him and Catherine good luck as they deport themselves to Ecuador, where the living is easy, the fish are jumpin’ and the coca grows high. Bring your instruments and show him who’s boss! Seriously, I’m going to miss him terribly and wish both all the luck on their new adventure. Do come!

Musical Guest: JON BUTCHER!
Fresh off another iconic National Anthem performance at
majestic Fenway Park, the legendary Jon Butcher graces our
stage at the Rhumb Line this week. Among the hardest working
people Iāve ever known, my friend Mr. Butcher never allows
himself to stand still. He continues to grow as an artist, and
spends each waking moment toward that end. Accordingly,
heāll be featuring brand new material from his upcoming CD.
Every bit as gutsy, rootsy and soulful as weāve always known
his music to be. Come meet Jon Butcher, up close and
personal. It all starts at 7! ~ Fly
